Scope of Offering
Goar, Allison & Associates’ patented D’GAASS® Sulfur Degassing process, capable of reducing dissolved H2S levels to below 10 ppmw in liquid sulfur, is tailored to meet your specific liquid sulfur degassing process requirements while allowing for ease of installation and low capital cost. Our design engineers work with you to provide the most cost effective solution that fits efficiently within the physical constraints of your plant operation.

We may also provide your D’GAASS process equipment in modular form, simplifying unit installation in the field and further reducing your capital cost. We can provide this service in two ways – through the full design and oversight of the unit fabrication on the customer’s behalf, or by selling the modular unit as a single equipment item.

The module contains the major D’GAASS unit controls, the contactor vessel, all interconnecting piping routed to the edge of the module, process instrumentation and controls, and electrical conduit routed to junction boxes at the edge of the module. Goar, Allison & Associates’ design team has experience in modular design as well as expertise in the unique requirements of D’GAASS units and will tailor their services to your specific needs.

Goar, Allison & Associates has provided process design packages incorporating the D’GAASS technology for over 80 units worldwide with total sulfur degassing capacity of over 40,000 long tons per day (LTPD). Our designs have been implemented in refineries and gas processing and gasification facilities in over 20 countries spanning North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Goar, Allison & Associates is experienced in providing basic engineering design, detailed design and control strategies, and support though the procurement, construction and start-up phases of a D’GAASS project. Our design focus is on safety, efficiency, long-term reliability, and lowest life-time cost of ownership. Each design is tailored to meet the specific needs of our client and the site. In addition to senior process engineers, our staff includes experienced designers in controls and piping to assist the client during detailed design phases.
